With more than 20 years of experience assisting governments and the private sector, Dr. Henry Vega has developed broad expertise in international trade and agricultural marketing helping new-to-market companies identify supply chains that meet their needs.
Based in Montreal, Henry serves as Congressum's Canada Trade & Market Access Lead. Day-to-day, he and his team gather market intelligence, organize trade missions and events, and develop B2B opportunities.
Prior to founding Congressum, Henry served with the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS). He has also managed export development assignments for the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) and numerous U.S. state departments of agriculture. Henry has a record of assisting small and medium-sized agribusinesses from across the Americas in making inroads into international markets through market development and promotion, business intelligence, and regulatory compliance.
Henry holds graduate degrees from Clemson University in South Carolina and George Mason University in Virginia.
Since 2020, Royal Lévesque has played a key role at Congressum, managing business development projects in Québec for American and international clients. Thanks to his understanding of the province’s business environment, Royal serves as a bridge between local institutions and foreign companies, facilitating effective collaboration.
Having grown up on a dairy and hog farm in Kamouraska, he has deep roots in Québec’s rural life and agri-food sector. This experience fuels his ability to turn complex issues into pragmatic, culturally relevant, and technically sound solutions.
A researcher in linguistics, Royal holds a bachelor’s degree in Literary Studies from UQAM and a master’s degree in Education from the Université de Montréal. His academic background strengthens Congressum’s work in professional and efficient communication.
